Great cake, quick delivery

I ordered a customized photo cake for my friend's birthday through Mybakers. The website was easy to navigate, and the customization options were straightforward. I placed the order two days in advance, and it arrived right on time for the celebration. The cake itself was fresh and looked exactly like the picture I provided, which was a pleasant surprise. The delivery person was polite. I appreciated getting a confirmation email once it was delivered. Overall, a smooth experience from start to finish.

Nice surprise for a birthday

Needed a birthday cake for my cousin last minute, so I checked out Mybakers. Found a cute Red Velvet cake, ordered it, and it showed up that evening. Pretty good, everyone liked it. Easy peasy.

Decent service, minor issue

I bought a pineapple cake and a fresh flower bouquet combo for an anniversary. The cake was quite good and the flowers were fresh. Delivery was within the promised window, which was good. My only small gripe was that the message card I included with the order had a tiny typo. It wasn't a big deal, but something to note for next time. Good value overall, though.

Thinking of ordering a custom tiered wedding cake from Mybakers. Does anyone know if they offer a bulk order discount? Or maybe some bank-specific offers right now?

R RahulG 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer

They definitely have bulk order discounts, I used it for a corporate event last year. You'd have to contact their customer support directly for the specifics, it depends on the size of the order. Also, check their website for bank offers, they usually list them during festive seasons.

R RahulG 2 weeks ago

Yeah, their customer support is generally helpful with those queries.

N NehaJ 2 weeks ago

Thanks, will reach out to them!

P PoojaR 2 weeks ago

I got a first order discount when I signed up, but that might not apply to a huge wedding cake. Bank offers usually pop up around Diwali or New Year's, so keep an eye out.

N NehaJ 2 weeks ago

A first order discount would be nice but probably too small for a wedding cake.

V VivekS 2 weeks ago

I saw some wallet cashback offers last month, check if those are still active. Sometimes they have tie-ups with Paytm or PhonePe.

A Amit89 2 weeks ago

Following this, also looking for discounts for a family event.

Good tip, will check my wallet apps!

Just ordered an anniversary cake from Mybakers for tomorrow evening, first time trying them out. Hoping it arrives on time and looks like the picture! Anyone had good experiences with their delivery in Ludhiana?

S Sneha 3 weeks ago

Same day delivery in Ludhiana usually works fine for me with Mybakers. Just make sure you ordered it early enough for the slot you want. Midnight delivery can sometimes be a bit tricky with timings but regular slots are usually smooth.

P PriyaS 3 weeks ago

I ordered it yesterday for a 7-9 PM slot tomorrow, so hopefully, that gives them enough buffer. Thanks!

A AmitM 3 weeks ago

I had a designer cake from them once, it looked great but arrived slightly tilted. Not a big deal for a home party, but for an anniversary, you'd want it perfect. Keep an eye on the tracking.

P PriyaS 3 weeks ago

Oh no, tilted? That's what I'm worried about. Will definitely be tracking it.

P Pooja 3 weeks ago

Mine was perfect, maybe it depends on the delivery person that day.

R RahulK 3 weeks ago

Hey Priya! I've ordered from them a couple of times for birthdays, always got it on time. They're pretty reliable for Ludhiana deliveries. Which cake did you pick?

D Deepak91 2 weeks ago

Red Velvet is a classic! Never had an issue with their delivery myself. You can usually track it too once it's out.

P PriyaS 2 weeks ago

Oh, that's good to hear! I went with the Red Velvet heart-shaped one. Fingers crossed!

Just ordered a Ferrero Rocher cake for my dad's birthday from Mybakers. First time trying them. Fingers crossed delivery is smooth, especially since it's an anniversary cake. Anyone else ordered a designer cake from them before?

A AnjaliK 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer

I ordered a BTS theme cake for my niece last month and it was delivered on time in Ludhiana. The design was exactly as pictured, very happy with it! They even accommodated a last-minute message change.

P PriyaS 1 month ago

Oh, that's reassuring! Was it a midnight delivery or regular?

A AnjaliK 1 month ago

Regular delivery, around 3 PM.

D DeepakM 1 month ago

I used their same-day delivery for an eggless chocolate cake once. Arrived perfectly. No complaints here.

P PriyaS 1 month ago

Good to hear about eggless options!

R Rohit87 1 month ago

My experience with a birthday cake was a bit mixed. The cake itself was good, but delivery was about 45 mins late. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind.

P PriyaS 1 month ago

Hmm, good to know. Hope mine isn't late.

S SnehaR 1 month ago

Was it during a busy time, like a festival?

My Mybakers coupon code isn't working for a bulk order I'm trying to place. It's for a corporate event, so I was hoping to get a good discount. Anyone faced this? Is there a separate process for bulk order discounts?

A Anjali 4 hours ago

I tried using a 'new user' offer for a big order and it didn't work. Turns out, some codes are for first-time individual purchases only. Bulk orders might need a specific code or direct negotiation.

R Rajesh87 4 hours ago

That's probably what's happening here. The code I'm using is a general one. Good to know.

M MeeraJ 3 hours ago

They do have a bulk order discount, but sometimes you need to contact their customer support directly for it. Regular promo codes might not apply to large quantities. I had to do that for a party once.

V Vikram 3 hours ago

Yeah, usually general codes have a max value or quantity limit.

R Rajesh87 2 hours ago

Ah, that makes sense. I'll try calling them. Thanks!

S Sanjay 2 hours ago

Could it be a bank-specific offer? Some of their deals are tied to certain cards or wallets. If it's not a bulk-specific code, that could be why.

P PriyaG 2 hours ago

Sometimes it just says 'invalid coupon' without much detail.

R Rajesh87 1 hour ago

Good point, I didn't check that. But even then, I'd expect it to at least show an error message rather than just not applying the discount.

how do these guys compare to bakingo or ferns n petals? i usually order from them but mybakers has a design i really like.

K Kate W. 1 month ago

I've used both. Mybakers felt a bit more specialized for custom designs, especially if you're in Ludhiana. Quality was comparable, maybe slightly better for Mybakers on the design part.

L Laura Q. 1 month ago

For just cakes, I think Mybakers is solid. Ferns N Petals is more for like, gifts and flowers too, so if you're just after a cake, Mybakers could be a good shout.

Trying to figure out if there's any new user discount codes floating around? Or bank specific offers?

G Gwen F. 2 months ago

They usually have a first order discount, I got like 10-15% off when I signed up last year. Check the site banner or promo section.

K Kate H. 2 months ago

Yeah, and sometimes they do bank card offers, especially with like Paytm or other wallet apps. Keep an eye out when you're checking out.

Hey guys, planning a surprise party for my sister in Ludhiana. Do these guys actually do same-day delivery if I order in the morning?

S Sarah 2 months ago

Yeah, I ordered a birthday cake for my friend's kid last month around noon and it arrived by evening. They're pretty good with that.

F Faith D. 1 month ago

I think they do, but it probably depends on how custom the cake is. For a standard one, you should be fine.

Anyone know if their eggless cakes are actually good? My mom's vegetarian and I want to make sure it's not super dry.

N Neil Hughes 1 month ago

Ordered an eggless chocolate cake from them for Diwali, and it was surprisingly moist! Everyone loved it, even the non-vegetarians.

S Steve D. 1 month ago

They have a pretty big selection of eggless options, so I'd imagine they've got it down. Haven't tried it personally though.
